Questions about Samsung JS8500 vs Samsung JS9000 (1 Viewer)

1. A sales rep showed me on the 9000 that there is a 3d mode. If you watch 3d blu ray on the 9000 and have the glasses, would the 3d be as good as on the 8500?

2. Apparently, the 8500 has only a mini one connect box while the 9000 has a fulll one. If you wanted to update the 8500 in a future year, fould you buy a full size one connect box that would work on it?

3. The 9000 is curved. Does a curved screen make content in a traditional aspect ratio look particularly weird (say 4:3)?

My understanding is that the 8500 comes with One Connect box it needs. Looking at the Samsung web page the upgrade boxes are for previous year models. There doesn't appear to be one for the 8500 series at this time.
