Lots of titles on here that many members of this site have been wishing for for years [CANNON, BARNABY, MATT HOUSTON, etc.]. The only show I will be getting is ANGIE but am happy for everyone who've been waiting for the others. Yet ANOTHER show crossed off my Wish List.

I'm most excited for "Hotel". "Grace Under Fire" I remember enjoying back in the 'day' too, and may pick up that as well.

Of course, this crosses off the # 1 show on my want list, Barnaby Jones, as well as Cannon and Matt Houston. I will also be purchasing Petrocelli, and possibly Angie and Hotel.

This is best DVD release news I've seen in a long time!

Now, if only they could work out a deal with Universal... I want my Cliff Hangers! :)

VEI has done several Universal shows previously, such as The Equalizer, Kate & Allie, Gimme a Break, Macmillan & Wife, and the original Invisible Man.

It would be great if VEI does complete series sets for the Alfred Hitchcock shows (similar to what Madman has done in region 4 Australia).

I would love to see VEI or similar outfit put out all 7 seasons of Alfred Hitchcock Presents and all 3 seasons of The Alfred Hitchcock Hour on pressed discs. Universal really dropped the ball on the Hitchcock television shows.

If their deal with Universal is still on, I'd love to see them do these titles as well; Owen Marshall Counselor at Law, Sierra, O'Hara US Treasury, Lucas Tanner, Nobody's Perfect, McCloud, Griff and Baretta.

They can't do "Baretta." It's pretty much confirmed the tape transfers for the stalled seasons were a casualty of the 2008 fire, just as "Switch" appears to be gone. "Sierra' never had tape transfers and even if 16mm prints existed they wouldn't make for good viewing IMO.

"O'Hara U.S. Treasury" is more viable because of tape transfers made for A+E reruns in the early 90s though hopefully those weren't lost in the fire. "McCloud" would be great to see but let's not forget the two shows Shout! mishandled and abandoned in "Ironside" and "Marcus Welby, MD". Universal's golden 70s age wouldn't be complete without those two titles finished!

Too bad about these damaged prints, ugh. What about the other Universal titles mentioned, do we know anything about their state/fate? Hopefully they should be possible to manage acceptably, if ever considered.

I'm in for Cannon and maybe Matt Houston. Back in its original run, Barnaby Jones was pretty much a time-filler for me. The first season release is all I needed. Interested to see what else comes.

VEI's website is now showing Matt Houston as a new release, although at the moment it doesn't appear you can order it. I'm glad to see they are still making progress (glacial, though it may be) on all their releases of CBS Paramount properties.

I think poor sales and bad quality reviews of their first releases slowed everything down for them. Not surprising since they chose releases that didn't sell for CBS or that CBS had no confidence would sell.
