The UK version with problems was the recent release from Network which was a "remastered" edition. Shout's release is coming from ITV, which I doubt has been remastered (probably the same as the UK ITV release) and which has no mastering problems. The Network edition was a Region B locked disc.Paul_Warren said:UK Bluray got withdrawn due to a mastering error a few weeks ago which caused a pixelation error @ 2 min 9 secs so check the master out!

Yes...but 2 different transfers....the original was done in 2009 (the "ITV" release which has no mastering issues and is region-free), and the newer transfer (the "Network" release from this year, which has confirmed mastering issues and is region-b locked). I believe Shock! got the older transfers based on when they originally bought the US rights.Lord Dalek said:uhhh Network IS ITV.

ITV. At least it doesn't have adverts.Lord Dalek said:uhhh Network IS ITV.
This region locking is nonsense. There few ways to get around it.atfree said:Yes...but 2 different transfers....the original was done in 2009 (the "ITV" release which has no mastering issues and is region-free), and the newer transfer (the "Network" release from this year, which has confirmed mastering issues and is region-b locked). When I clicked on the link in the first post, it took me to Shout's site but the BD has been removed from what i could see.
It's still showing on Amazon as being released on January 13th.AlexNH said:So should we just stick with the "ITV DVD" (i.e. blu-ray) from the UK released in 2007? Or will this be a better picture/audio experience?
