Hey! It's directed by Yuen Wo Ping, who directed the action scenes for the original--the only reason anybody went to see it. And he's one of the greatest martial arts movie directors ever. (DRUNKEN MASTER, the original, anyone? IRON MONKEY? TAI CHI MASTER?)

Strange all around. But still I hope for something great. Crouching Tiger is an essential millennial movie. I loved it, and wore out the soundtrack. I need to watch it again. It's been a while.
