There are few like Jonathan Winters - he will be sorely missed.

One of my favorites in the whole wide world.  Ever since I was a boy and saw him on a PSA for litter I was inspired.  He was just winging it, you could tell.  I only saw that PSA once or twice but still remember it after 40 years.    I'll miss him.  :(

Winters on Lettermen showing a short film he made.  1986

Jonathan spent the better part of his life making us laugh. I think he'd want us all to keep laughing now. It is, after all, the best medicine.

I'll watch IAMMMMW tonight in his memory.

While he's rightfully known as a legend in comedy, check out an episode of The Twilight Zone (entitled A Game Of Pool) to see him give a good dramatic performance.

Comedy or the rare dramatic role, always entertaining, thank you for making me laugh, and putting a smile in my face just from certain looks. Prayer’s to the Winters family.  RIP
