I'm guessing Kenny Baker won't be involved this time. Although you'd think with modern tech, they could build an R2 suit he could "drive" with a small LCD video screen inside. The remote Artoos have gone rogue before, and probably will again. ;)

They used CG R2 in previous movies except Episode 1.

^ Yeah, if I remember correctly, they used Baker in the costume for a little bit of Attack Of The Clones and maybe only one shot in Revenge Of The Sith just so he could have portray R2-D2 in all the movies.

What really bothered me in the Prequels was the use of CG in places where they could have used real things. Like CG R2 in normal non-flying shots or worse, the use of CG Clone Troopers. I think they never ever used a real person in Clone Trooper costume. That made it look real bad.

^ Yep, every shot of a clone trooper is CG. I do think some of the clone troopers are incredible work (some of the clones in Revenge are flawless and unless you knew that it was CG, you'd never be able to tell) but other shots look like CG.

I had no idea they were CG clones until long after the DVD release. Saw the movie 2 or 3 times in theaters.

What is understood need not be discussed.

A certain famous hunk of junk has reportedly been rebuilt.

I hope this time around they don't let it rot on the backlot at Elstree, as happened to the original full sized prop. Park it in Disneyland or a museum!

The most promising new factoid? That we'll see a famous location mentioned numerous times, but one that hasn't been realised on screen before:

One small hint: Star Wars The Old Republic has added a planet that has long been mentioned but never seen on film.

The likeliest candidate to fit the description is the ancient Sith home world of Korriban.

Ok I don't know much about the expanded universe but please explain to me, how the Sith can have a homeworld if there can only be 2 Sith at a time?

The link below has all your answers, i played one of the Old Republic games on my ( older ) X Box and some of it was set on Korriban.

Do Star Destroyers even exist? The Empire is gone.

I figure Star Destroyers are similar to battle ships in our world. They're not Imperial as much as they're the navy of whoever is in power.

He is free of charge and also accessible although a lot of the additional alternatives staying bandied with regards to Abrams.

How much have aircraft carriers changed in thirty years? I'm betting we see at least one with a Rebel/New Republic insignia painted on the hull.
