There's Jessie the yodeling cowgirl. Bullseye, he's Woody's horse. Pete the old prospector. And, Woody, the man himself.Of course, it's time for Woody's RoundUp. He's the very best! He's the rootinest, tootinest cowboy in the wild, wild west!

I wonder if BB will be offering a pre-order steelbook offer for the upcoming Fantasia release, as they usually announce it the week the newest Disney title is released.

It's not in this week's ad, Robert.

Thanks Mike, and ouch...where to begin: Toy Story 3 Combo, Mater's Tall Tales (), Bridge Over the River Kwai, Chitty, Chitty Bang Bang, Highlander, White Christmas.  I'll hold off on the Sound of Music for a few weeks, but it is an eventual grab

I should add I'm interested in the Pacific, but will save that for a good sale next year.  I have all the episodes sitting on my DVR unwatched, and I already bought he BD import of Goonies as I didn't need all the "stuff" with it.

Here's hoping it will happen. I kind of like the "payment plan" concept of being able to spread an expensive Blu-Ray purchase over a few weeks.

Just Toy Story 3: 4-Disc Combo Pack for me this week.

Disney Movie Rewards ("DMR") has an $8 off coupon for the Blu-ray Combo Pack. You must be a member of DMR to print the coupon and you can only print 2 coupons. To print the coupon, you will need to install the Bricks / Coupon.com coupon printer applet (or have already used it in the past). The coupon expires 11/8/2010 so act fast if you are going to use it.

Several other of this week's Blu-ray releases are going on my want / wish list for future purchase:

  • The Bridge on the River Kwai
  • Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
  • The Sound of Music

The Bridge on the River Kwai will be mine when it envitably comes up in a sale a few months from now. The Goonies would be a no-brainer if there was a more economically priced bare-bones release along with the collector's edition. So as it stands, just The Sound of Music for me. I'll have to make a run to Target right after I get off work and hope for the best. The Target on Central Ave always seems to run out of the good stuff by the time I can make it there. Depending on how I'm feeling Monday night, I might set the alarm clock early Tuesday and head over before work.

Mike, I'm positively flabbergasted TS3 didn't make it into first position, picture wise.  Alright, TS3 with the Disney coupon for sure.  The Pacific at some point in the future.  Same for The Goonies.  I think there's a deal for some money off TS1 or TS2 with the purchase of TS3...so I'm in for completing the set.  I may finish up my Futurama series since they're on sale at BB; same with Six Feet Under.  Some of the Stargate seasons look good cheap, too, but only if they're in the new packaging. All together it looks like Best Buy is laying low in catalogue title sales in preparation for Christmas.  There's not a ton of stuff on sale this week.  Only 150 BD titles and another 150 TV shows on DVD from my admittedly hasty (and sleep-deprived) check.  Too bad I can find stuff no matter how slim the pickings get...

I'll be picking up Toy Story 3 Blu-ray this week and I'll see if I can get someone to get me The Larry Sanders Show for Christmas. Thanks for the prices, guys!

Mike, thanks as always for the stellar work.

Just pre-ordered Toy Story 3 and Sound of Music combo packs. The Pacific is going to be a Christmas present for Dad, I will wait for one of best buy's half off sales on HBO sets for my own copy. That Goonies price seems pretty high, perhaps a price drop in the future will send that my way.

Quite a week. I have TS3 and "Let's Spend the Night Together" on order and will be getting the special Target edition of the Sound of Music BD. I'll check the reviews to see about whether I want to upgrade to the White Christmas BD.

Was going to order the SoM BD and Chitty Chitty BD from FoxConnect (w/ their 10% coupon), but the Target deal looks best for the combo, so I'll probably be doing that come Tues or Wed after I do my preordered Toy Story 3 BD pickup at TRU (assuming their final price will be competitive)

_Man_

Looks like the Toys-R-Us price is $34.99. Not exactly competitive IMO. I think I will bail on my pre-order and get it at Target since I have a $5 gift card I use use, plus the $8 DMR coupon, I'll be looking at $11.99 plus tax versus $21.99 at TRU.

And, while I'm at Target, I think I'll snag The Sound Of Music Blu, too.

I thought I saw rumor(s) that the actual TRU price may still end up being closer to the competition even though their recent big book mailing lists it at ~$35. And then, they have other additional deals that might interest some. Will have to wait and see I guess... _Man_

FYI, BB's site lists Mater's Tall Tales BD at $19.99 (along w/ the $5-off combo purchase deal w/  TS3 BD)... _Man_
