Has anyone been checking out Walmart lately recently? These past few weeks, I've picked up quite a few good deals:

$8 BR's

Crank
Punisher
Young Guns
Near Dark
Kickboxer

$10 BR's

Transporter
Transporter 2
XXX
SWAT
Vertical Limit

$13 / $15 BR's

Godzilla
The Patriot
Casino Royale
Serenity

$19.99 BR 2-packs

Daredevil / Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
Romancing the Stone / Jewel of the Nile
Man on Fire / Out of Time

There are many others that I cannot remember at this time.

Just picked up a $14.99 BR 2-pack with Reservoir Dogs and King of New York at Walmart earlier this evening. A real surprise.

I wish my local Walmarts had that two pack for $14.99. They are all still $20 here.

I scored the two disc 30th Anniversary special edition of Close Encounters of the Third Kind on Blu-Ray for $15 there a few weeks back, which was quite the deal, I thought.

I just picked up a "Planet of the Apes" 1968/"Planet of the Apes" 2001 Blu-ray twin pack for $19.95.

I thought this was quite the deal.  Even though "Planet of the Apes" 1968 is the far superior movie, I still cannot help but admire the Burton influence and technical effects of the update.  And I didn't have either of these movies on Blu-ray.  In fact, this was the first time I had ever purchased the 2001 edition in any format.

Other titles I've picked up on BD "on the cheap" from WalMart recently were:
"The Phantom" $8.00
"Cutthroat Island" $8.00 -- Both of these movies were a lot of fun.  I'm willing to bet that if "Cutthroat Island" had been released *after* "Pirates of the Caribbean" it would have cleaned up.
"xXx" - $12.00
"Men in Black" - $12.00
"Serenity" - $15.00
