Codeweavers is giving away free copies of their Crossover application tomorrow (10/28). I'll try and get a copy, in the distant hope that it can run MS Money. (That would eliminate my need for Parallels.)

The free software is available now. Because they are being hammered, they are using mirrors of their trial software. Once you download the trial versions (grab both the regular and game downloads) you can register and unlock the software from within the trial programs.

As far as I'm concerned, it's a damned shame that a field as potentially dynamic and vital as journalism should be overrun with dullards, bums, and hacks, hag-ridden with myopia, apathy, and complacence, and generally stuck in a bog of stagnant mediocrity. - Hunter S. Thompson, 1958, from cover letter he wrote for a newspaper job.

Registered and downloaded, thanks! Somehow I don't think Everquest will run fast enough using this but if it does I could theoretically go fully Mac only at home...

Yes, it was a special one day special.

We found it doesn't properly run MS Money 2003, so it's of no use for me right now.

A friend said it runs Half Life 2 quite well, so maybe later I'll try some games in it.
