Yeah I know...old thread, but it is here...
I have a DVR "copy" of Lovers of the Arctic Circle...
1. Am a fan of his work
2. Wanting to upgrade my DVR...
Is there anything missing from the HBO(could have been Showtime...I don't remember) showing vs any of the various DVD of the movie?
Basically trying to decide if I can trash the DVR(getting the 5 show at once with whole home from DTV).
Am fully aware I could just transfer the DVR to a hard drive (Directv lets you do that)...but is there a reason to get one of the 3 versions of the disc?
Region won't matter as I've already found a source for 2 of them. In case you need to know...Pio DV420 and LG DN191. And yes, I've checked DVDBeaver, but any differences in any of the discs can be made up for on the Pio. And, DVDBeaver doesn't help comparing a disc to a "pay channel" showing...
