Hi!
Actually I use a Panasonic progressive scan DVD (player and recorder) linked to my Sanyo PLV-Z2 (16:9 720p native) projector. In order to be able to display the 480p DVD signal my projector has to upconvert it into 720p.
My question is, can I get a better picture if I use an upscaling DVD player (set on 720p on the DVI output linked to my projector) like the Samsung DVD-HD841 or the DENON DVD-1910 ?
For that upscaling setup I should have to buy an upscaling DVD player (about $400 in Canada) and a 25' DVI cable, about (about $500 in Canada). Do the PQ improvement worth the investment ???
Thanks!
