Looks nice so far. What are you going to finish it with?
You're right it is larger than I expected. I'm going to go with the smaller one for now and then when we move next year build the larger size like you have.

I'm going to finish it with some maple veneer to match the other living room furniture. Hopefully I'll be able to start that in the next week or so.

Geez, at first glance I thought those were ports sticking out the top! Stupid me

It actually looks like it might blend in very well with the furnature when you have it completed. Very nice!

Haha, no not ports, just a temporary resting spot for the legs. I think it will blend in well once I run the cable under the floor and finish it.
