What's new

I have the chance to get a "65HX83", over my current "65H82", should I do it? (1 Viewer)

I posted this in another thread and I wanted the opinion of you guys here. Toshiba is offering me the "HX83" series over my current "H82" series because the dvi upgrade is not available for the "H82" series yet. It would cost me $399.99 for the "H83" and $599.99 for the "HX83". Are the new sets better than last years model or should I take the money and get my "H82" calibrated? Thank you so much.

Greetings

Take the new set. It is visibly better than the 82 series units. Get the H83 though and not the HX since the plexiglass is much harder to remove on the HX.

While an ISF will make the 82 better ... take the new set and save up a bit more ...

Sorry to hijack the thread, but what do you mean by "the plexiglass is much harder to remove on the HX" ?
