Here is the TVShowsOnDVD listing for it, which is where TVTome perhaps got the info. We based that on info posted to Amazon, then later to DVDEmpire. As you see from the links, the listings have been removed because Fox said that was an unconfirmed date. So it may be that date, or it may be something close. Or it may be another date...we won't know until Fox says officially.

Fox usually includes little card in with their set telling when the next season is coming.

Has anyone picked this one up? I stopped watching after several eps when it was on but I bought S1 and I'm a completist. I may take my time getting it though - look for it to show up on a used shelf or something.

$36.99 at Costco, if that helps. I picked it up, but it's on the back burner for a while with everything else that's come out.

I, too, picked this up... but it is also on hold for me. Too much to watch, too little time.

I liked the first season. I've never seen the second, though I've heard it's a downhill ride.

I picked it up, I loved this series and it deserved much more than the measly 2 seasons it got. I loved both seasons. (I feel the same way about the measly 4 seasons of Farscape).

The first half of the second season isn't so great, it turned into a "mutant of the week" type of thing. Worst part of the short history of the series.

But the second half of the season really started to take off and the show came into its own. The story threads were much more interesting than anything from the first season.

Well kinda bringing this old thread back up because I would just like to add something here and didn't think I should start a new one.
**SORRY THERE MAY BE A SPOILER OR 2 BELOW**

I just finished Season 1 about 3 weeks ago and was dying to get to Season 2. I thought Season 1 was pretty good, lots of hits and misses but I was thoroughly intrigued by all that was going on, particulary the Logan/Max interaction (naturally).

Well I picked up Season 2 about a week ago and naturally started watching it as quickly as possible. The second season was MUCH HARDER to watch than the first. As many have already mentioned I felt it was a "mutant of the week" deal for about 1/2 of the episodes -- very annoying in my book.

What I did like was:

--Less focus on the Jam Pony friends :emoji_thumbsup:.
--More focus on some more Manticore history/mystery
--More focus on the now f***ed up Logan/Max relationship (while I hated what happened I think it was the best way to keep the show going ie get into another Season or 2 to resolve this issue)
--Addition of new characters -- liked Alec & Joshua (even though he began to annoy me a tad and looked like Beast from Beauty and the Beast) -- the episode where Joshua learned to paint was a true gem :emoji_thumbsup: !!
--Zach is gone (sort of) the GI Joe thing was bugging me
--Ames White -- good villain until they freaked out the story line (yet again)
--Season/Series Finale --- everybody wants to poop on it but I liked oh well I guess I just like crap then -- so sue me.

What I didn't like:

--Logan/Max deal. UGGH this was frustrating especially for the "Borrowed Time" episode. BUT then again this is the TV is done!! I personally would have done it differently but what do I know.
--Removal of Lydecker (bad move!!!), presumably it was left open for him to be back but he was good character in the mix.
--Mutant of the week BS. Borrowed time was an EXCELLENT episode if they had done away/come up with a different bad guy other than the ridiculous gossamer thing !!
--The first 1/2 to 3/4 of the Season were just there nothing to GRAB ME(except a few bright spots), but the last 5 episodes or so IMHO were great and the Season/Series finale was great (albeit the ridiculous IWO JIMA rip off sucked  )
--The cult crud --- they coulda done something else here.

To sum it up I will really miss this show. I realize I am totally in the minority here but so be it. I want to be very clear about one thing I DID NOT watch this show strictly for JESSICA ALBA. While I think she is pretty attractive I was more entertained by the interaction of the characters.

I don't think FOX gave it chance nor cared about the show, much like they treat anything they have that is even remotely decent. They stuck it in on Friday at 8pm and as we all know that is the death nell for anything and everything (isn't X-Files the only thing to survive there??)

I enjoyed the show and like many things about it and feel a bit of despair by not getting things "summed up" but alas this is the way TV shows are and thats life. While FOX was probably right to let it go I would have preferred that they have said OK we are cancelling the show but you have this last season to sum things up (ie in a 3rd Season). I think they had plenty to work with and could have had a great 3rd/final season. This is EXACTLY how I feel about Firefly not being given a chance (although FF got screwed WAY MORE than DA did).

Anyway I just felt like spewing my weird thoughts on the show and express my disappointment that its all over.

Time to get another show to "latch on to" for a while.

Thanks for reading.

Greg
