DAMN sweet machine!!!!!
It sure looks like it! What speakers are you going to run with it? Also, do you have a PJ in mind? Last year's JVC was awesome.

I won't be able to stay for the movie (just like last year Posted Image ) but I still can't wait.

Looks like Scott Weinberg isn't going to be there. Too bad. I could use another dose of his preaching. Posted Image

Is there a preferred start time or is it pretty much "whenever people get there"? I don't recall seeing it on any of the notices.

A little bit of indentured servitude never hurt anyone. Posted Image Besides, I'll need something to stretch my muscles after a 3-3.5 hour trip.

Nooooooo! No soft pretzels! =( And Scott is one of the funiest and most opinionated of the past attendees too, shame he'll miss it!

Yea, I was wondering about that too.
That, plus the fact that Saturday nights weather report seems to be taking a turn for the worse. Posted Image

I just called the hotel and they have power.
Its within walking distance of Scooters so I'd say he has power.

Scoot

Actually, since you have power and they don't, you would be Scoot Almighty, Casting the Shadow in the Blackout of 2003.

Wow, that was some experience. I live in Staten Island, NY and work in Jersey City for a brokerage firm. I'm an IT guy (software developer).

We basically stayed up all night with problems at work. Our building's generator picked the wrong time to fail and when the power went out the generator didn't kick in like it was supposed to. Our whole data center went down. We're talking racks and racks of circuits, network hardware, servers, PCs, you name it.

It's a miracle we got things up and running by the time the brokers started coming in.

To make matters worse, the generator of this other building a couple of blocks from ours caught on fire around 10PM. It was un unbelievable sight. Everything was pitch black except for balls of fire on the rooftop of this building. Luckily, nobody was injured and the fire was contained in time. People have been able to go into work over there.

These have been some crazy couple of years. First I escape 9/11, now the "Blackout of 2003".
