Any Monk fans notice that he's sort of the anti-Columbo in that his obssessive-compulsive, neat-freak ways mask to an extent his detective skills, in the same way that Coumbo's messiness led the perps into thinking there's no way this schlub could ever figure out how I did it? I've become hooked on both and thought it was interesting. Maybe they should pair them up Odd Couple-style and see if these two people can learn to solve a mystery without killing each other.

The unltra cheap production values on MONK really turn me off even though on some level I really like the show.
