I have looked through the owners manual, but it doesn't say anything about being 4 ohm stable. I would hope a $1000 reciever (not what I paid of course 
) would be able to handle lower impediance loads but ya never know. Is anyone running the AVR-525 at 4 ohms? any heat problems or other wierdness? The reciever should be delivered tomorrow and I am still concidering my speaker options. Thanks for the help.
