So what will happen to the RDC-7 and the RDA-7?

I don't know about the design though, I've always found that Integra's prepro designs look too receiverish for my liking...

(For an Onkyo product mind you..) It looks well built on
the outside.. Wish they would show the guts..

These are the Integra separates, not the Integra Research separates. The RDC-7 and RDA-7 continue as the upper end line. I believe that each piece is supposed to be in the $2-2.5 range.

Oh ok...geez they sure are confusing. I thought Integra and Integra Research are the same, and that their lower end stuff was just Onkyo, like Sonic Frontiers and Anthem, Aragon and Acurus, Lexus and Toyota, Acura and Honda, Infiniti and Nissan. Why the hell did they decide to create another brand? It just serves to confuse... :frowning:

Inquiring minds want to know! :)

>> dual 32-bit DSPs

SHARCs?

>> Crossover Adjustment [yes]

Global or individual?

What kind of 24/192 DACs?

It's got a phono input too! Tasty... I bet they sell a ton of these. This is the only Japanese manufacturer with a current pre/pro in the $1000 - $2500 range (afaik). I wish Sony & Marantz would get a clue and put out updates to the TA-E9000ES and AV9000...

It's got an RS-232 port too, although I didn't see a specific mention of software upgradeability?? Nice looking.

Sony is going to do "digital" amps too. I wonder if there's any connection.
