DENON AVP 8000 - A/V Tuner/Preamp/Processor with Dolby Digital 5.1 – THX certification.

This Pre Amp has for years been considered Denon’s finest processor ever, very musical! There is no replacement from Denon yet. It weighs 35 lbs (with no amplification built in) so it is obviously one serious piece of equipment. One listen to this unit and you’ll fall in love. It retailed at $3500 when it was new.

It comes in the original box with the instruction manual, and the original remote.

Price lowered to $600 obo. Come on, don't miss an opportunity to get this one cheap! This is a piece for music lovers. I use it 80% for music and 20% for movies. It sounds better than my high end stereo pre-amp. This is one of the few pre/pro that allows you to turn off dialog normalization. With that and the THX 5.1 post-processing of Dolby Digital (AC-3) signals, who wants dts?
