Hey everyone, I'm new here and I have a question about upgrading from my current receiver, a Sony STR-DE945, to something new. I'd like to get something with similar power output, preferably not less, and most of the newer featured that my current receiver does not have. HDMI pass-through, 3D pass-through, 1080p upconvert, and 7.1 channels, and the abiluity to use a microphone to auto-calibrate sound settings to a room are the things I would definitely like to see, anything else is a bonus. I've been looking for a little while now, and I've brought one receiver home ( a Pioneer, albeit a lower end model..) but it just couldn't compare with the sound and power of my Sony. My current Sony: http://reviews.cnet.com/av-receivers/sony-str-de945-av/4507-6466_7-30099434.html Potential Yamaha: http://reviews.cnet.com/av-receivers/yamaha-rx-v571/4507-6466_7-34533966.html I'm currently leaning toward a Yamaha RX-V571, but as far as I can tell it's going to have noticeably less power than I'm used to. Thanks in advance for the help!
