Just discovered a really cool program that I think will
interest many HTF readers....

The show is called BRAIN GAMES

It's currently airing on National Geographic Channel

It's all about how the brain is focusing upon everything
that is happening around you. This is the first television
program, that I am aware of, where the viewer becomes
a participant of the show.

Each week a newly themed episode manipulates the
viewer's mind, challenging he or she to figuring out various
optical illusions, magic tricks and moments of decision making
whose outcome may blow you away.

....yeah, it sounds as if I am promoting this like a commercial,
but I am really enjoying this show and often find myself absolutely
amazed by how much it plays with my mind.

I had hoped that others in this television forum had discovered
this little gem and would be discussing it. I am hoping to turn
some of you on to BRAIN GAMES and see what you think of it.

Don't just watch one episode as some themes tend to resonate
more with viewers than others. In other words, chances are if
you don't like one episode you may like the next.

Let me know what you think.

Oh, I love this show. I have been fascinated with the our perceptual systems and the way the brain works for some time. It's fascinating stuff and some of it fits in with the course I teach that has a strong focus on visual aesthetics for video and film production. That and it is just cool.

Glad to see a fellow fan here.

Seen five episodes today. That is what my Tivo
automatically recorded.

Wonder how much material there is for this show
to keep running. I would think sooner or later there
isn't going to be anything left to challenge us with...

...we shall see.
