AFAIK, 'Danmark' is simply the Danish word for Denmark. Dunno why Yahoo has it spelled differently in different locations.

Yes, "Danmark" is the Danish name for the country. If you notice on the mail-page, they spell all the European countries in the language of that country (Danmark - Deutschland - España - France - Italia - Norge - Sverige).

And, of course, it should be "Moskva" not "Moscow." I think on early maps it gor transliterated from Russian to German to English.

Unless you meant the english spelling, in which case I would guess Copenhagen. I have no idea where Kobenhaven comes from, I have never heard it before. So I guess this post wasn't helpful after all :)
