I have a Tosh 27" direct view set in my den that really needs the overscan adjusted. I have no trouble getting into the service menu of my 40" Tosh 40H80, but the same procedure does not work for my 27" set.

I purchased the 27" Tosh back in the early 1990's; the model number is CF2771A.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

It may not have a service menu. Back in "the day", many service-type controls were physical 'pots' inside the TV.

I opened up the back of the set to find that there were trim pots inside. However, they were kind of scattered around the circuit board and the board on the back of the tube.

After much searching with a little flashlight and trying not to touch anything, I did find one that was labeled "Height". Bingo! That one did the trick.

I thought I would touch up the width as well, but I could not find an adjustment for that. Oh well, the width wasn't really a problem anyway.

Thanks for your help!
