    Slipknot - Disasterpieces

I don't like the band, but I hear the DVD is GREAT!! It even makes use of multiple angles. Also, it is a 2-disc set.

Re Secret World Live - I didn't have any problem with the video (maybe I am just undiscriminating) and the soundtrack rocks. IMHO

The image is disappointing. It's very grainy throughout and has apparently been cropped from its original 4:3 aspect ratio. However, everything else is great - the sound and the PERFORMANCE are magnificent. The staging of this show is brillant.

    Other great concert DVDs:

Talking Heads - Stop Making Sense
The Band - The Last Waltz
    Monterey Pop
Bela Fleck & The Flecktones - Live At The Quick
Live From Bonnaroo Music Festival 2002
    King Crimson - Deja Vroom
    Phish - Live In Vegas

Procol Harum - Live in Copenhagen (2001)

    and of course,

Procol Harum - Best of Musikladen (1971) - this is actually a TV appearance, not a live concert

    Also,

Focus - Masters From the Vault - this is really a documentary but it has clips from TV appearances

I second the recommendation for King Crimson Deja Vroom

If you're into the Grateful Dead, there's Ticket to New Years and several View from the Vault DVDs (assorted '90s concerts)

you know, im sick of no one ever giving credit to Alice in Chains UNPLUGGED.

This has got to be THE BEST SOUNDING concert ever. Crisp acoustics. If you like Alice BUY IT!!!

(of course this is only my opinion)[IMG]

Pearl Jam - Touring Band 2000

Some of my highlights are definatly their playing Dead Moon's 'It's Okay' at the end of 'Daughter' (makes me smile every time, just great hopeful rock and roll), having a person who was signing the songs for a deaf person jump up on stage and sign 'Given to Fly' for the entire audience and grabbing a little boy out of the crowd to ride around on Eddie's shoulders during their awesome cover of Neil Young's 'Rockin' in the Free World'.

Oh, and read Eddie's liner notes on the inside of the front cover - "PLAY THIS DVD LOUD!"

I'll second Alice In Chains Unplugged. Simply unbelievable sound quality. I have recently listened to the Metallica S&M DVD which is great sound and video quality.

Iron Maiden: Rock in Rio (DTS)!!!!!!!
    Sharp picture, amazing 5.1 sound

Jon Z : I didn't think I'd ever find anyone else who also owned the Death DVD. Despite the low budget A/V quality I'm still glad to have it as part of my collection.
    (R.I.P Chuck.)

    Also good:

    Incubus: Morning view sessions
    Alanis Morissette: (CD/DVD)Feast on scraps
    Korn: Duece
