The Term "Art House Cinema" is highly relative. For Example a Finnish film like "Häjyt" was a big hit in here and very "main stream" in terms of actors, writing and direction. Bring the film to the States or in the promise land of Art House Cinema, France, and nobody will regard it as something normal. What's normal for us, ain't normal for you.
I cannot describe myself as art film junkie, but I'm fairly happy with the selection.
Recent films bought:
Dancer in The Dark
Pi
The Limey
Happiness
Pusher
Bleeder
Some titles are very hard to come by or atleast in Finland. Especially french cinema is available in VHS but not in DVD.
Special Request:
Films of Aki Kaurismäki on DVD!
