I remembered another one... william shatner about 15 years ago or so... at a rental car lot, lol. He was shooting a promo spot for them and had an autograph session before it. It was announced in the paper, my mom and I went, probably only 15 to 30 people showed up... probably during his washed up phase... his face was pretty red like he'd been out boozing before, lol.

While its not fun...It is funny. I was looking at an ebay seller who is selling signed movie posters on ebay. Now, I know their are a lot of fakes. But, when I saw this. I had to laugh. Here is the description and you tell me how you can tell its a fraud...

I have a purchased autographed photo which is a real standout.

It's of the ruins of Hiroshima just after the atomic bombing.

It's autographed by Paul Tibbets. If you don't recognize the name, he named the plane that did it after his mother, Enola Gay.

Every Memorial Day weekend my local airport holds an airshow of mainly WWII vintage airplanes. I always go to these things. A couple years ago, Paul Tibbets was the featured guest. He was autographing and selling his book on the bombing of Hiroshima for $50. I balked because of the price but now very much regret not ponying up. While most celebrities will in time be forgetton, this is a fellow who is history, who will forever be remembered. I doubt I will I get the opportunity again, but he seemed to be in good shape so maybe it will happen.
