the score on 2:3 pulldown. I understand it syncs framerates from film to fit TV. So, obviously it's used for DVD players to synch film with TV. But what about an NTSC broadcast? DO you need 2:3 pulldown? Do you need 2:3 pulldown for any form of TV send through cable TV or satelite receivers?

I noted TVs with and without the 2:3 pulldown feature. I know that it's needed in a DVD player but I found it strange that a TV would have this feature. It seems found only in higher quality TVs. Should I demand this feature in my HDTV?

I would think the TV would have it in case your DVD player didn't, right? That way it can convert the film based movie from your DVD at the TV instead of at the DVD.

So I guess as long as you had a DVD player with the feature then you wouldn't need to worry about it being a requirement on your TV.

Someone please correct me if i'm wrong.
