I don't know how the heck it happened, but I managed to throw out my Leica D-Lux 4 by mistake. This was a huge blow to me, simply because it was my late father's camera and it had sentimental value. For 'serious' photography I have a Canon EOS with a range of lenses and that is safe and fine, but it's too cumbersome to take on a lot of trips, so I like something more portable for these occasions (hence the D-Lux). Having said that, I wasn't wildly enamoured with the picture quality from the Leica, and I'm six ft 9 tall with large hands, and pocket cameras can be just a little bit fiddly to handle. So I've gone for something larger, and having read all the reviews, I've bought a Fujifilm X20 by mail order [I should add that I've handled an X10 so know it is a *lot* better to handle than a pocket camera for someone with my size of hands]. There's just one thing - how easy is it to carry one of these round in a belt bag? Has anyone any experience of this camera or one of a similar size carried in this way? I should add that I hate shoulder and neck strap carriers before anyone (entirely sensibly) suggests the obvious alternative.
