Has anyone seen either of these movies? I know they were on TV at one point, because my grandmother had seen them, but I don't think they have been released on DVD or VHS. If they are, I'd love to know where I could buy them from, because I am somehow related to one of the actors, named Shirley...
I hate to say I told you so...
Someone said that UltraViolet sucked and that DMA\Keychest was how it was supposed to be done! This downgrade of titles never happened with UV.
It’s not industry gossip it’s a done deal! There’s already a list of 7000 titles that are marked as movies anywhere on Vudu and a lot of Sony titles are in the list. Graphics have been designed and code has been added to phone apps. There is a lot of evidence.
That was the original plan with UV too, but it didn't happen. I used to be an optimist when it came to UV, but they didn't reach a lot of their stated goals. I am not going to get my hopes up that this new system will be a perfect system either.
Only 6200 movies on the list were UV, so that is 68%, not 78%. We are still missing movies from Lionsgate, Dreamworks Animation, Paramount, and MGM. If they don't get those studio's on board, they won't be able to replace UV with one digital locker for all our movies.
It's a new digital locker, not a new streaming provider, so whatever movies you own would transfer to your existing services, i.e. iTunes, Vudu, Amazon Video, Google Play, etc. The new digital locker has not even been announced yet, so there is no indication that it will not be explained...
This hasn't been officially announced yet, but a new "Movies Anywhere" service is being developed by the studios and retailers. All of the Major Studios have signed on, except for MGM, Paramount, and Lionsgate. One hopes they would join before this launches. They have already given MA status to...
I have heard that they have fixed over a thousand codes since launch. They are rapidly expanding their database, so I would expect in a month or so to have far few errors on eligible titles.
