Fun fact . Doubles are suppose to look like the person they are doubling for.

That shot could easily be a double with all that makeup. Check out the video. At first they start to raise her legs a bit than it cuts to Dorthy Provine coming out of the truck. Next shot is her all the way upside down. A double could of easily been added at that point.

In the scene where Ethel Mermen's held upside down in order to retrieve a key, I say its a double. My friend says it really is her. Anyone?
