    Person of Interest Season 3

My wife hated it and wants a POI to be saved most weeks. We both think Root and her relationship with the machine has usurped Finch too much and made the machine too unbelievably powerful, as when it tells them in real time a shooter is at 2:00.Still, the writing is amazing and there is so much...

    Person of Interest Season 3

Glad so many liked this episode but I think most of the Root episodes are too over the top. And Shaw really gets away like that when six bad guys had a bead on her? It was so...silly.

    Person of Interest Season 3

It was never in doubt. I am a little concerned about its ratings decline but the competition is pretty good right now. Hardly ever having two new episodes in a row doesn't help and, last week's excellent episode aside, I think a few of this year's episodes have been lacking somewhat. Still, I...

    Person of Interest Season 3

Loved this episode. Certainly one of this year's best. The writers certainly have their backstory down. Not a false note in the way all the disparate parts of the history tie together.

    Person of Interest Season 3

Really, this one was silly but the last one, with Root being tortured by Ma'am and the machine helping her with morse code in high frequency, wasn't silly? I agree with Quentin, this one was fun and I kept waiting for the stewardess to be another "bad guy" and she wasn't. You never know with...

    Person of Interest Season 3

They showed a tray full of empty hypodermics. Then, the machine tells her (Root) that her antagonist has a knife or scapel in her back pocket. This thing went quite a bit over the top.

    Person of Interest Season 3

I'm not up to speed technologically as many of you seem to be and the whole episode seemed dopey, especially the way Root was tortured. Really? And she was still able to physically fight back after all those injections and her ear being destroyed? Reese has seemed a little fragile here...

    Person of Interest Season 3

Reese felt respect for Carter in the first half of season one even as she was chasing him. IMO, that's why he got her numerous "collars" when he was leaving bunches of crumpled crooks in his wake. Those first half episodes, when Carter was after him and Fusco was a mole, reporting to Reese...

    Person of Interest Season 3

After next week, how long will the hiatus be? Is it possible we don't get new episodes until January?Didn't see this coming and I sure don't like it. The kiss was an errant move but the dialogue was fine. Man, that was one dirty police department. I'm still not believing this is it for Carter...

    Person of Interest Season 3

The rookie got kind of squeamish the last couple weeks, didn't he? He didn't seem so reticent before Carter got the drop on him. Yes, I'm surprised, a little, over his demise and that Carter has learned as much as she has. This was a very good episode, very good, and I'm looking forward to the...

    Person of Interest Season 3

This was the first episode this year I wanted to watch a second time. Highly entertaining.

    Person of Interest Season 3

Agree with many of you. This was a very entertaining and exciting episode with a couple surprising, "Wow, that was great," moments. I liked the Root, surprising Shaw, moment at the end and I loved Carter turning the tables on her rookie partner. I knew when they had the scene with them...

    Person of Interest Season 3

Great post Walter. I agree with you. Especially in season one, I was breathless with the execution of wonderfully written stories. This year, I'm still watching. I like the original characters and I'm hoping for better, not hating what I'm seeing but kind of feeling ho-hum about the shows...

    Person of Interest Season 3

No comments on the October 15th episode? I liked it but didn't care for the ending. The open ended conclusion had a been there, done that feel to it. I don't think the show needs Shaw that much and she is getting old.

    Person of Interest Season 3

I'm not abandoning the show, but I think it's a little messy now with these new characters and the machine becoming a turn by turn coach to Root. Too fantastic for me. I liked Zoe being back and they did nothing with her. Last night was ho-hum for me, as is this season so far.

    Person of Interest Season 3

A little of her goes a long way. She makes the story too much about the machine. Also, none of our main characters could ever form an alliance with her, could they? She was just too evil before.

    Person of Interest Season 3

I would have thought that 10PM Eastern time would have been the earliest anyone could see the show, with a delayed broadcast to those on the west coast. Very interesting. You get the show three hours earlier than the rest of us. Thanks. No spoilers this year, please.

jcroy: It looks like you commented on the episode a couple of hours before it aired. How did you pull that off?

    Person of Interest Season 3

Liked the episode but don't want to see the machine become almost a person. I liked it as a dispenser of information. That to me was believable. It shouldn't be a life coach for Root. I agree that Fusco seems to be falling into minor character status. I hope that doesn't continue. I'm far...
