Loved this episode. Certainly one of this year's best. The writers certainly have their backstory down. Not a false note in the way all the disparate parts of the history tie together.

They showed a tray full of empty hypodermics. Then, the machine tells her (Root) that her antagonist has a knife or scapel in her back pocket. This thing went quite a bit over the top.

This was the first episode this year I wanted to watch a second time. Highly entertaining.

Agree with many of you. This was a very entertaining and exciting episode with a couple surprising, "Wow, that was great," moments. I liked the Root, surprising Shaw, moment at the end and I loved Carter turning the tables on her rookie partner. I knew when they had the scene with them...

Great post Walter. I agree with you. Especially in season one, I was breathless with the execution of wonderfully written stories. This year, I'm still watching. I like the original characters and I'm hoping for better, not hating what I'm seeing but kind of feeling ho-hum about the shows...

No comments on the October 15th episode? I liked it but didn't care for the ending. The open ended conclusion had a been there, done that feel to it. I don't think the show needs Shaw that much and she is getting old.

I'm not abandoning the show, but I think it's a little messy now with these new characters and the machine becoming a turn by turn coach to Root. Too fantastic for me. I liked Zoe being back and they did nothing with her. Last night was ho-hum for me, as is this season so far.

A little of her goes a long way. She makes the story too much about the machine. Also, none of our main characters could ever form an alliance with her, could they? She was just too evil before.

I would have thought that 10PM Eastern time would have been the earliest anyone could see the show, with a delayed broadcast to those on the west coast. Very interesting. You get the show three hours earlier than the rest of us. Thanks. No spoilers this year, please.
