    Moritz already has a 1st gen UHD TV. He means as long as HDCP doesn't get in the way. Or if there is no improvement with having to dumb it down...being 1st gen.

    I've never had a problem with VOD buffering on Directv.This whole issue of "throttling" has never hit the cellular or satellite ISP.It is only DSL and cable that I hear throttling...

    OTA beyond 720P/1080i would require the obsolescence of the current crop of TV. Unless we all got $40 converter boxes...Directv will have 4K VOD by the end of the year.
