Daily News and others calling this season of 'The Good Wife' the "Great Wife' season, as one of the most on-topic, tough, smartly written seasons of television.

I agree.
It has been since...
No, it's not data being lost. What happens is that it starts out downloading a low quality version, because of bandwidth, and then bandwidth frees up and it goes back and grabs the HD version. I asked about this once.
You've never had that happen? I took it as somewhat of a joke, but I've more than once (until we switched providers) had netflix buffering stall, go backwards and then start all the way over again on a PS3.
I think for some this is a hard episode to get into. What worked for me is that almost every technology reference was dead on. From the assessment of TOR to the problem of homophones with voice recognition software (I run into it a lot when I use voice recognition).. Just bam, bam, bam.
I...
The ending had an crazy high creep level.
I enjoyed everything about it. There is no show on TV - and I love GoT and Mad Men - that has a better realized secondary cast. Every minor character isn't just a prop, they are given a seeming life history, real motivation and a meaning for being...
This sounds feasible, but it's not really. I have a sibling who worked in the pentagon for 7 years. Now, he was military but the use of pen drives / USB is not an unknown there.. no matter where you are. There are reasons for this, actually. In some cases they trust the officer to...
There were a lot of people who were bothered with the idea of Louis Canning replacing Will. I think it's pretty clear after tonight, that isn't what is happening.
I have a bit of a projection of how I think this may go.. but this is one of those shows that has fooled me often. Still, here's...
This was a beautiful, haunting episode that probably best encapsulated the way that death really feels.. outside of Buffy's episode 'The Body' this ranks very, very high for the way that other characters relate to loss in a very real way. Just a home-run episode, brutal. And while I didn't...
I've heard this referred to as The Good Wife's Red Wedding. But I think it had a lot more impact in comparison to 'The Red Wedding'. While the Red Wedding was shocking, it was that kind of show, where you knew bad things could happen. The Good Wife had never presented as a show that could...
I can't think of any other show on television, any, where the 'extra cast' the people you don't see every week have such well fleshed out characters that they blend into the show seamlessly, importing in to the show a unique personality.
I've praised this show for it's smart use of technology...
Good Wife officially renewed for Season 6!

This may be one of the best shows ever written about technology in the service of government, good or bad. There are more wheels working, better scripted with a better understanding of technology good and bad then shows that proclaim to be about those things.
The writers bringing in...
Now that the Michael J Fox show is done, he makes his way back to The Good Wife for a significant arc to wrap the season:

Good deal, because Canning was a GREAT character
I do like the idea of Bishop bringing his business to Florrick-Agos, and the trouble that could stir... Had a lot of fun; I was waiting for the cops to nab one of them in the street racing scene
Many stroke victims go through a period where they have issues, and they recover.. not all the way, but to some extent. Actually, I found the idea of Jackie fixated on past events t be very in line with that reality.
It reminded me a lot of an office I worked with in Kansas City in the "West Bottoms" a former meat house, a large building that looked so much like the new offices I laughed. Just so it can be said, after 5 months and some hard work, the internal of those offices had a really unique and cool...

Ahead of the headlines. Story breaks that a hacker installed software to manipulate and grab images & content (including webcam) from a Miss Teen USA to...
You know making him a partner is going to backfire in all sorts of ways at L&G. I think one of the outcomes of that is that Kalinda will be not-plussed with this. To now, she's stayed with L&G.. but she knows Alicia is being setup.
I don't think that's what he means. I think what he means is what we're going to see in the show.. Will is feeling bitter and furious. So, his solution, then is to grow like crazy in an attempt to prove that he was always right.
But as Cary pointed out, the problem at L&G was always that it...
Yeah, this ranks as one of the most enjoyable hours of TV I've seen in a long time. I had other shows I sometimes watch first, but this week it was The Good Wife live.. and I didn't regret it. Kept me on the edge of my scene and it was wild. I loved every moment of it.
Simon-
I would agree. If ever there was a show that put women in power roles and gave them real purpose, this is it. Tonight's episode was fantastic; the cabal, Diane outing them.. just everything. The entire episode was sensational from beginning to end. Was Kalinda telling the truth in...
It is all falling apart, but it's delicious how it is breaking apart at the seams, and now you understand how this is going to go.. the forced push out here tells us we are definitely heading into new territory, there is very little going back, especially not that the old firm is basically toast.
This show manages to take on more hot button issues then anything currently on TV, and it does it very well. In this episode, we had: NSA, daughters being connected with 'suspected' sympathizers, stalkers, search engines being held suspicious because they couldn't report on how they responded...
