Some of the best games of last year were WiiU, though. Seriously. Bayonetta 2 is fantastic. Mario Kart is a blast, Smash Brothers? There are titles on other systems that were fantastic (I'm a huge LoU fan, and I've really been enjoying Dragon Age Inquisition) but fore replay value it's...
Super Mario 3D World is a must.. great fun. Super Mario Builder stands out (it's a future game) as something that could be a real blast. They just did a big update to Pikmin 3, and it plays entirely differently from the way it did when it shipped.. it makes it a new (and I think better)...
SSB comes out this fall. It is over the top and ridiculous but it is wildly fun. One thing Nintendo really has nailed is the local multiplayer. And as a local multiplayer, Nintendo makes more great 'party' games for kids and parents then anyone. Mario Kart 8 is probably the best party...

And then there are these factors:
The ten top selling games of December 2013? Nintendo has 5 of them. Sony has...
I am envious of those who feel they can ditch a PC.. will never happen here.
That said, the WiiU is actually on a roll lately with a few new titles that have been really good. Pikmin 3 is great, and the demo for Wonderful 101 is very good.
