I don't believe I'm being unnecessarily insulting when I point out that we, like any OTHER specialty websites, have a small but vocal minority of unruly members...it's part of human nature. When you have one-on-one interaction between people, especially on an anonymous format like the internet...

Kino Lorber Studio Classics - First Time on Blu-ray

This is the reason why the major studios have mostly moved on from specialty websites like HTF and either created their own or shifted to social media websites like Facebook and Twitter, where they can control their PR and not have to deal with the more unruly elements of our membership here...

"Pocketful Of Miracles" is Frank Capra's cinematic swan song and Ann-Margret's debut...I've been waiting for a suitable replacement for the non-anamorphic MGM DVD that I've been watching this on for the past decade...the rest of the cast ain't too shabby, either...Glenn Ford, Bette Davis, Hope...

Kino Lorber Studio Classics - First Time on Blu-ray

I hate it when the smart-ass members of these forums take it upon themselves to troll threads by industry insiders like Mr. Lime or Nick Redmond right here to thread-crap, provoke and otherwise aggravate them and the rest of us...turns the general enjoyment of participating in these threads into...

Kino Lorber Studio Classics - First Time on Blu-ray

I'm voting my support for ALL of these companies with my hard-earned dollars by buying their products...and participating in threads like this to encourage them to KEEP releasing them...I'm seeing titles coming out on this thread that I NEVER imagined I'd see on blu-ray...and I'm thrilled to...

Kino Lorber Studio Classics - First Time on Blu-ray

I've read Matt Hough's HTF review of "Marty" and with the caveats he's pointed out about the transfer and the controversy it's engendered here, I'm STILL buying it...others obviously have objections on principle about this, but I'll continue to pick and choose what I want to get from this...

Kino Lorber Studio Classics - First Time on Blu-ray

To help get this thread back on track towards its intended focus, I'm pointing out that HTF's OFFICIAL review of Kino's blu-ray by Matt Hough of "Marty" is now posted in the DVD/blu-ray review section...he's quite happy with it, btw!!!
