So I guess it's safe to say, if it's CBS/Paramount, and the show has Capitol Music cues, expect wholesale music replacements? What other classic shows that CBS/Paramount has the rights to have Capitol Music cues?

It's a month of its release, and still no explanation why there was music replacement and why 2 of the episodes were presented with music intact. I guess people just don't care. What I was wondering, are some of the music replacement cues heard on this dvd also heard in the Fugitive Season 2...

Why would they have 2 episodes with the music left intact, and the rest rescored? Strange, indeed!

That's really sad to hear what they've done to My Three Sons. I really was surprised that they were going to release this show in the first place. Now with its high price, split seasons, and to top it all off, replaced music, it really doesn't bode well for this show getting past season one on...

Given the outcry over the Fugitive Season 2, Volume 1 and the non-release of the Fugitive Season 2, Volume 2, maybe -- hopefully!! -- CBS/Paramount will never go the route of dumping complete music scores ever again.

Hopefully this delay in releasing My Three Sons is because CBS/Paramount has seen the light and decided to issue this as a full season set. Hopefully they start doing the same with Gunsmoke. Split seasons for half hour shows are unacceptable, especially when said shows have runs of 10 years or more.

Kudos for CBS/Paramount for releasing the show to dvd, but I think it's a bit self-defeating to do it in a split-season set. Will those not familiar with the show pick up an 18 episode set for $25+?
