The most recent DVD also had brown color. I won't judge on the new caps because the Beaver is bad at them, but it does look better in terms of color - but his caps are SO inaccurate I'll just wait till the disc arrives and trust Mr. Harris' eye.

Great news. Funnily, the faded CRI scenario was what I believed for the DVD release because the color was nothing like any IB Tech print I've ever owned or seen. But even if it was off some new element, whoever did the color timing clearly did it incorrectly.

If the colors are similar to the DVD it's wrong. Too brown, sorry. But I would never judge anything by the Beaver caps.

The only real point is have they finally got the color right - the last DVD, as nice as it was, was too brown and looked nothing like the dye transfer prints. Given the propensity for brown at this studio, my worry antenna is up very high - and I pray that I am wrong and that I can come here...
