For me, it was a big, dumb dinosaur movie, which IMO is what the entire franchise has been outside of the first film. There's nothing wrong with that of course, because DINOSAURS, but it would have been nice if more thought had been put into the writing. I think the best thing about this film...
At this point in the Jurassic film cycle, I'm sure that most of the cast members are more than happy to receive their dino-sized paychecks no matter what the quality of the film might turn out to be. Now, if they're getting percentages, that may be a different story.
I don't know about that. I've personally witnessed people doing this when they haven't seen each other for a long time, so the exchange between Dern and Neill in this trailer didn't stand out to me as being weird or out-of-place in any way.
