Holy shnickeys! I didn't even make the connection until you said that that those flunkeys were "the others"!! They had all the bad-ass Ethan'ness (shooting Sawyer before he could even get a shot off).. The French chick saying "the whispers said they would take the boy tonite"... Not...
Good episode! Definately not filler.. I was glad, as much as I liked Boone's character, that they didn't do another miraculous reserection.. Did they say next ep was the season ender??
I thought Claire escaping a little far-fetched.. I mean, Ethan can sneak undetected into an armed, fore-warned camp and kill one of them, but he can't handle a pregnant woman? But oh well.. Had to happen somehow. Charlie taking out Ethan wasn't entirely unexpected, but gratifying all...
Only thing is, he wouldn't go to the police with something like that.. Or, it wouldn't do him any good.. He'd have to take it up with the news media, or the human rights advocates.. I don't know what to think about the Locke-Boone thing.. True, Boone did hallucinate.. True, Locke did...
I was hoping to find out what Locke discovered in the jungle.. But oh well.. Good episode.. Hopefully we'll find out what's happening with the search for Claire as well..
True enough.. I still say Ethan is military.. And that with access to rifles, knives, etc, the people that may or may not have been on the island for 16 years, they would have worked at bettering skills with those types of weapons, not martial arts..
That's assuming these people are not military, and that they've been on the island for 16 years.. But like I say, whatever.. I'm done arguing about it.. You go with your theory, we'll go with ours..
Exactly.. Jesus.. He was trained to move like that.. Shown what was going to be coming at him, which way to duck, and where to counter.. But whatever.. You're obviously not going to be swayed by reason on this one..
C'mon, man.. You seriously think that's going to be anybody's priority, even after they've taken care of the necessities? To learn how to fight against other people? And even if it was, without a "Pai Mei" to show them how it's done, it'd be the blind leading the blind.. Now trapping...
Trust one who has some experience in this arena.. Nobody fights like that without some professional training.. Jack, however, fought like you would expect of a novice street-fighter (haymakers, etc). What trauma are we refering to? Falling down the hill?
Ethan would definately not have been able to drag the 2 of them, and had they been unconsious Charlie wouldn't have been dropping clues.. He could have been herding them along, but then who would be watching them when he went to deal with Jack? Unless he tied them to something, which would be...
Hmm.. looks like I missed eps 3-5 somehow.. I'll get them watched, then I'll get back when I'm up to speed.. But 1 question.. If Locke couldn't walk, how could he be a hunter? Unless it was an accident.. If it's the military, as suggested, that would explain a few things.. The...
