Maybe it was because that TMMITFM was a massive hit in 70mm where I worked . TAATE was a flop. I still enjoy seeing TMMITFM on bluray but TAATE bores me.

I totally agree with you in that CLEOPATRA was Fox's best looking 65mm production, It was the most spectacular film that I saw at the time of it's original release-and it has yet to be surpassed.

The Rivoli had D150 installed but they never advertised any 70mm films as being shown in that process. I doubt that they ever used the full D150 screen.I was going to see THE BIBLE when I was in NYC but gave it a miss as I had worked in a 70mm cinema in New Zealand and the film...

I totally agree with you.It was showing in 70mm at the cinema where I worked and I had to suffer seeing it every day. It was originally to have covered the entire bible but they only filmed part of it - hence the title being changed to 'in the beginning'.
