And at least two of Joey King's films, Wish Upon and Bullet Train, got many negative reviews, but I still enjoyed them when I got them on DVD/Blu (they are two of the best of the six I have of hers on physical media).

That's why I've made many of the complete-series DVD purchases I did-- the shows looked interesting on the surface (of course, for quite a few, the appearance has belied the reality).
