Cary Grant: The Complete Filmography - Watching All Of His Movies

It (His Girl Friday) was a Criterion newsletter cartoon clue a couple of months back (mock turtle hiding in a rolltop desk) so it's definitely coming but no official announcement yet. The earliest it could be released now would be January 2017, which will be announced later this month.

All the Hollywood Gold Series blu-rays have Region B on the cover but are all confirmed region-free. I have Lifeboat, The Devil's Brigade, Judgment At Nuremberg, Exodus, and several other of these releases from Shock Entertainment and they all are region free.

Amazon UK is great! If you use the phone or tablet app, you can switch countries from the Home screen. They automatically convert to USD or whatever currency and you can use any credit card

Nelson, there is an Australian region free BD of Lifeboat. It's the same transfer as the Masters of Cinema release, great transfer: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Lifeboat-Blu-Ray/dp/B00DQJYW6A

Others on my list of go-to's include North by Northwest, Saboteur, the Bond films (especially the early...

I figure this will be a typical Olive release....just whatever transfer they were provided, without any work done on it. This one may be rough based on TT's comments, so I'll wait for some reviews. But if it's passable I'll probably get it just because it's Cary, Sophia and Frank.....

Father Goose is one of my all-time favorite films, just a well-written and superbly acted film. First saw it on the old "NBC Saturday Night at the Movies" in the early 70's, probably seen it 50 times since then. The Olive BD, while not perfect, is perfect enough for me and one of the treasured...

You SHOULD be ashamed! ;) This is one of the all-time great adventures and the set Josh referenced is still a bargain ($10.86 at Amazon right now). Buy it!! (Which will hopefully trigger a blu-ray release within a week or two; at least that's how it usually works with me!).
