    Hello Dolly (1969)

There does seem to be blue tint on the DVD/HD caps and a yellow tint on the Blu-ray caps. I don't trust caps for there are to many outside forces involved. I also agree the Blu- Ray does not look like those caps.

While we are playing who's that, does anyone know the name of the dancer/actor that has blond hair and wears glasses. He plays a waiter and can be seen sitting on the NYC train station steps during opening number and also in the "Keep Dancing Number". He was talented and must have been a...

Thanks for pointing out his scene. I have been trying to locate him in the film but I was concentrating on the waiters to see if he was one of those.

You are right about watching this through for the first time in years. I have actually spun this thing 4 times from beginnig to end (One time just looking at the sky) since this arrived. How true about the tradgic loss of Danny Lockin. He is a ball if energy and humor in the film and I would...

    Hello Dolly (1969)

Understand what your saying but I would think "It Only Takes A Moment" by Michael Crawford and "It Takes A Woman" by Walter Matthau were pretty much solo numbers in HELLO DOLLY. They did have a chorus behind them but the main body of the song was theirs.

    Hello Dolly (1969)

What's the difference in versions? I saw the Roadshow at the Coranet in San Francisco and the General Version when it hit Jackson MS. I do not remember anything different at the time.
