I don't understand all the positive comments for The Living Daylights on BD. I love the film very much (it was the first one I saw at the cinema, aged 8), but to me the transfer is terrible. Looks very video-ish, and not at all filmic. It's nowhere near as much of an improvement over the DVD...

I agree 100%. There are certainly some titles in the set that are HUGELY problematic picture-wise (Goldeneye), and many others that, despite getting the okay from some quarters, I think look terrible (Octopussy, View), but I agree with Osato that OHMSS, Diamonds & Spy look wonderful...

Here's a very pedantic point about the packaging, so feel free to ignore it. I very much like the idea of having each film's romantic interest pictured next to the discs - and the selected images work brilliantly. HOWEVER - for World Is Not Enough, shouldn't it be Denise Richards pictured...

I am in total agreement with the above post from Anthony Neilson. It completely sums up my feelings about this set. Rushed, not finished, but still just-about acceptable considering the cheap (-ish) price point. Realistically though, us Bond fans certainly wanted more.
