It says something when theaters are officially back open and The Empire Strikes Back is in the top 5.

With all the recent date changes are there any reason why theaters should be opened? They won't have anything to play.

So last weekend they only did slightly better than New Mutants did on it's first week.

This would go with what I posted about earlier this week when I looked for daily numbers and didn't find them. I was wondering if Warners were going to try to pretend that everything that happened Tuesday to Sunday was their 2nd weekend number.

I decided to check to see what Tenet has been doing since this past weekend and after visiting both box office mojo and the-numbers.com it appears that Warners have not been releasing their numbers. Tenet has not been on the daily charts. New Mutants have been #1, Unhinged #2 and Bill & Ted...

Considering how many days worth of screenings were counted towards this weekend's total for Tenet $20 million is pretty small. Probably not much bigger than New Mutants last week when it actually $7million over 3 days and New Mutants wouldn't have been expected to open anywhere near as high as...

I do think Tenet will have a higher than usual multiplier as more and more theaters open each week.

That could be why it doesn't say. I think it includes Canada from last weekend which wasn't reported and everything from the US from Monday on.

I wouldn't bet against NATO boycotting Warners titles if they go PVOD before the theatrical window is open if they play in theaters to begin with.
