It seems like it's very hard for most streaming movies to get anyone talking about them. If this wasn't a remake, it wouldn't even have a thread here. Right or wrong, most streaming movies are treated like background noise and don't get the recognition that a theatrical movie receives.
I would disagree with that because, while they weren't trying to make Citizen Kane, they set out to make a good movie and their attempt ended in a movie that is inadvertently funny. Just like great bad movies like Showgirls or Red Dawn or Plan 9 From Outer Space, it's very entertaining because...
That highlights my problem with setting out to make bad movies though- it needs to be organic. The '89 Road House is funny because they thought they were making an action movie and not a bad action movie.
