I'm still watching and enjoying it but I still need to catch the last three episodes of the season. I'm glad the show is on and I hope it comes back next season but clearly, if I'm still three episodes behind, it's not something that I'm anxiously awaiting each week.
Yep, I dig it but I'm kinda surprised at the lack of Willows (I haven't seen the most recent episode yet). I'm guessing that if there's a third season, they may be planning on none of the 'classic' cast. The new characters are likable so focusing entirely on them and not leaning on the older...
I have to say that's a cool move on Jorja Fox's part. She passed up a lot of money to stay true to the character(s). Yeah, she's already rich but many people would have taken the money.
I loved that because I wasn't expecting to hear commentary on the world today from CSI and because it is 100% something that Grissom would feel and be perplexed or frustrated by.
I'm so happy that The X-Files was made at a time when 24 or 22 episodes was the norm because despite the occasional bad episode, I'd never trade the other good or great ones that exist only because they had to turn out 3 times the number of episodes that some shows make today. If the show was...
Network TV shows still get full seasons. It will never be back because viewers are impatient and studios are cheap but I wish the days of real seasons would come back. Not every episode has to contribute to an arc.
It's not amazing but if you liked the original, I think you'll enjoy the new one. One thing that works is that there's an arc that runs through the episodes.
I'm willing to give it a shot because I liked the new characters but I'd be excited for it if Petersen was coming back and hopefully Sara Sidle will return. I'm assuming they'll go with a season-long arc again (about the serial killer that was shown at the end of this season) and that's a good...
I really enjoyed this. Grissom's monologue at the end was a winner. I liked seeing Grissom's love of rollercoasters get brought up again.
Beyond the last scene, there was last week's commercial that called this week's episode the season finale so it seems like CBS wants to bring it back next...
I kinda figured that would get 'forgotten' about just so they didn't have to deal with the continuity so I was pleasantly surprised that they kept that thread from the original run alive.
I laughed at how happy I was that they kept "Who Are You".
