Why would they need to have Princess Leia in Ahsoka? If they want to have Ahsoka meet Anakin's other kid, they can easily do it offscreen. And any scenes they felt a dramatic need to have with Leia and Ahsoka, they could easily give to the CG Luke.

The speed that they do seasons of these shows makes me wonder if the movie will be released before 2030.

I'm assuming that the purrgils are the only (or one of the only) things that can make the trip to the other galaxy. For nearly every being in the Star Wars galaxy, they can't get in a spaceship and travel to the other galaxy.

And it only took five (?) years for Disney to figure out that not everyone on the east coast wants to or can wake up at 3 AM so they don't have the show ruined by losers on social media or legit websites desperate for a click on their headline.

Since they're putting up the first two episodes on August 23, I'm betting that episode 1 is more like an introduction to all of the characters (so folks who have never seen The Clone Wars or Rebels can know who's who) and episode 2 really gets the story started.

According to the Star Wars Twitter again, it's set during the timeframe of The Mandalorian (I assume that means after Return Of The Jedi rather than exactly taking place during The Mandalorian) so I think you'll see more of the lady that she fought in her episode.

The Star Wars Twitter feed confirmed that Dawson was playing Ahsoka. Essentially her episode of The Mandalorian was like a backdoor pilot.
