Similar to Cars 2, I think The Good Dinosaur is more aimed at kids than most of their movies. That's not really a criticism (it's a fine movie and there's nothing wrong with 'just' making a kids movie) but I think it's why I wasn't as impressed as I usually by their work.

Same here but at the same time, I'd probably say that Brave is my least favorite Pixar movie.

Pixar + dinosaurs + holiday moviegoing = about a billion dollars worldwide I'm not saying that the movie will be good or bad just that it's got elements that all but guarantee making money.

I'm always in for a Pixar movie. Whatever behind the scenes debacle went on, this movie will be a huge hit because kids love dinosaurs. And I can't even imagine how many plush dino toys they're going to sell during the holidays.
