I think Lady Gaga has a very, very good screen presence (probably from having the same thing on stage) and helped create an interesting character but yeah, Dunst was certainly better.

Denis O'Hare comes through like a champ as always. I thought the murder of the two hipster asshole kids was pretty funny because from the first sentence they spoke, you hated them & knew that they'd die so the longer it went on, the funnier it became.

Yeah and he's usually one of the stronger cast members but it's like he's doing a parody of 1920's character rather being that character. By the way, why isn't Sarah Paulson more famous? She hasn't had a ton to do this year yet but she's an incredible actor.

Yeah, that's possibly the best looking set ever on a TV show. Game Of Thrones certainly has some nice stuff but I assume they use existing castles so it's not as impressive as starting and spending from the ground up.

I guess I'm the only person who thinks that the show is much better now than in the first season. Murder House just seemed interested in shock value but the show now seems to walk a line between being scary, really fucked up and funny.

With a hotel, you could have a season where the characters' stories are loosely connected. You could watch one episode and get a tale from beginning to end but if you watched the whole season, you'd see characters & events cross over and get a more full tale. Considering that it's American...
